Jardins des Tuileries – Arted up!
These are some pics that I took a little while ago.
As there often are in Paris, art exhibitions and displays pop their wild heads up to come shock/intrigue/attract the passer by.
These photos were taken at the Jardin des Tuileries, near the Louvre. These gardens annually host a vast array of artists’ creations. It’s an amazing experience to go wondering through the paths and come across refreshing and modern conceptual creations.
These were some of my favourites:
Jacques Villeglé, “Etre étonné c’est un bonheur” translated by Baudelaire from the English “It is a Happiness to Wonder” by Edgar Allan Poe
Vincent Olinet, Pas encore mon histoire
Pierre Ardouvin, Bonhomme de neige/Snowman
You can come and see various installations every year but in the mean time, I will kee posting them. They make me dream and just escape!
