DRAIN – A DOGBOWL SHORT directed by JAKE JANISSE

I am not really going to comment long on this footage as it is breathtaking and really captures the essence of the Dogbowl session by the Zboys and skate pool friends during the summer of 1975, when pools were emptied because of a drought in the LA area. If you look close, the founders of what is now an incredible skate movement appear: Tony Alva, Stacy Peralta… maybe even Jay Adams too.

For those NOT fascinated by skate, just watch and relax. This is just an inspiring flashback into the past! Happy summer afternoon! xxx
