My hat and M&S on Les Champs Elysées
As I was out at Les Jardins de Bagatelle last week, I decided to wear one of my unreasonably large collection of hats.
This is my tweed, hunting style version. Although I don’t hunt. But I really really love Tweed, especially in Autumn. It reminds me of colder days, hues of fallen leaves and warmth for outdoor country walks. That’s the English side in me!
I bought this hat last winter at Mark’s and Spencer on Les Champs Elysées. They have a really great funky selection of clothes and accessories. Far away from that frumpy look that can sometimes be associated with British brand. The store actually re opened only a year ago, after having sadly shut down for a few years due to bad performance. Last time I went I still had to queue to get in (!!!) along a red corded corridor on the Champs. Where better to be standing in line in the world staring at the Arc the Triomphe?? xxxx
