Preppy shorty outfit love
Autumn and winter. It’s all about the warm cosy colours and thick textures. I found these really comfortable and coloured shorts in a charity shop near me last week and had to share my love for them!
It’s also the season to pull out coloured tights and be merry. Burgundy is not only very flattering but also super fun and lively to wear.
Wearing short shorts does mean, for me at least, wearing flats so as not to overdo it. My leather boots from a couple of seasons back do the trick nicely and mean I can also walk around for hours without having sore feet. My kinda pumps!
Preppy style has always been an easy style for me. It fills my head with inspiring pics of the film Love Story (and the beautiful Ali McGraw), of the Kennedy’s, of my mother’s style all that time we lived in London.
