Summer Paris trends

As promised yesterday, here are my favourite pics from my day covering the Antik Batik Press sale. The materials they use are amazing: silk, heavy cotton and the softest thinnest jean material. Here are some Parsian vintage style ideas that I love. Hope you are inspired xxxxx

40s floral look
Pretty floral dress silk summer dress. It has a real 40s vintage look if you wear open toe healed sandals and make sure you bring the belt in tight to accentuate the waist.

Retro rock
Denim is in, and this summer its all about denim shirts and denim skirts! This one is gorgeously fitted and so light it actually feels like cotton. The pretty ballerinas are from Mephisto in Paris and the t-shirt Club Monaco in NY (this brand is amazing and it’s coming over here and I can’t WAIT). Denim skirts are best kept simple, a retro look is alway elegant I find, so wearing flats helps empahize that 50s rock n’roll look.

70s cotton
Isn’t this white heavy cotton dress gorgous? Accessorized with a leather tressed belt accentuates the 70s feel it has about it. I also find that this, on a beach on a hot night, looks fabulous and will be one of my party favourites this summer down Southern France with a fresh glass of Rosé in one hand!
