Ane Brun’s haunting voice

Ane Brun is a thirty something ethereal norwegian artist with a voice as delicate as it is strong.
I recently bought her album Live at Stockholm Arena, the instrumentals are really quite amazing, totally penetrating and really quite haunting. Brun’s voice canalises it, turns it into something more than surreal, like being transported to an enchanted forest full of celtic mysticism. Vocally probably stronger than Agnes Obel, she is enchanted whilst also keeping her feet rooted to the earth during her performances.
Here she sings for Bjork (in the front row) one of Bjork symphonies: Joga.
Not only does it work, I believe it was written for Brun since her beginnings.
