Cupcakes in Paris

Cupcakes are big in the United States and the trend is strongly catching up here on the European continent.

There are some really great places to go in Paris to taste and also order cupcakes for special occasions and both these boutiques have inspired me to make my own but also, to order from them, for some events I have organized. Both were as delicious when you eat in or whether they are catering for big crowds and pay special attention to the filling and cupcake itself, not just the decoration!

When in Paris, take a trip to both, it’s worth the detour.

A really really pretty boutique dedicated to cupcakes situated at the top of a pretty street in Montmartre. The shop window is like something out of a dream! The owner is French a real Anglo Saxon background and really pays attention to fresh colors and really innovative tastes.

Now these guys are amazing for their cakes as well as their cupcakes. They are the kinds of cake decorations and just for that, I had to mention them. I really really love their birthday cake models for adults and kids and the inside is JUST as yum as the outside looks. The cupcakes are really original and fresh and they cater for big parties too!
