The Best English bookshop in Paris!

I was lucky enough to be born with three mother tongues (french, italian and english) but the one that I really really prefer reading in is English. Being away from English litterature isn’t an easy thing for me and I am not always the biggest fan of ordering books online. I love spending lots of time strolling through the aisles, browsing through the shelves, smelling that ink and paper that you can only find in a bookshop. Attica, in the 11th arrondissement near me, is a wonderful english bookshop which stocks a myriad of works for children and adults of all kinds and interests. I even found some old John Wyndhams here that I bought and reread eagerly, as if I had no idea of what happened next in the plot.

There are really beautiful picture books, comics, novels, auto/biographies and really everything you could want and best of all, if you can’t find what you are looking for, they order it pronto for you. Its just like being home! xxxx
