Michiko lovely love
I recently discovered the beautifully delicate work of Michiko Horie at The Brick Lane Gallery recently in London. Michiko lives in Paris now but was born in Tokyo and studied at a school of design there.
She paints but creates also really really cute sculptures and embroidery. The link to her website is below.
We could all do with a little bit of light in our houses or offices, please go and see what Michico creates and let it inspire you in colours and patterns.
I particularly love her “Bubble” series, where the eyes are filled with tears that the artist represents as shiny bubbles of all sizes.
